Health & Wellness
“Dear Friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” 3 John 1:2 NIV
The basic concept of health and wellness is the balance of mind, body, and soul which results in an overall feeling of wellbeing. The White’s Chapel UMC Health & Wellness Program is God-centered and created to empower members of the church community to take responsibility and initiative for their own health, fitness, and wellness as a part of their daily lives. Driven by 1 Corinthians 3:16 “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” our Program encourages Christians to strive for wellness in all areas to be their best for God’s service.
The Health & Wellness Program includes educational support groups, periodic medical screenings, and classes on wellness, health care, and prevention of disease. During worship services and special events, our WC Medical Team provides emergency response and first aid. We also promote blood donation and have blood drives onsite quarterly for you to help others by donating. For more information, contact Mary Ann Zrake, PA-C at 817-481-4147 ext. 242.
