Steven came to White’s Chapel in May of 2008. He is a native of northwest Louisiana, being raised in the small town of Coushatta. Before coming to White’s Chapel, Steven served as the pastor of Pecan Gap UMC, Ladonia UMC, Salem-Crestview UMC in Graham, TX, Tonk Valley UMC, and Murray UMC. He also served as the Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Assimilation at First United Methodist Church of Hurst.
Steven graduated with a B. S. from Centenary College of Louisiana (Shreveport, LA) in 1998. He completed his Masters of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology/SMU (Dallas, TX) in 2001, and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at SMU.
Steven loves to be outdoors, running, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and fishing. When he has to be inside he loves to watch movies and go to 24 Hour Fitness. By far, Steven’s favorite activity is to hang out with his three girls and spend time with friends.
Steven, his wife Meredith, and their two daughters Ann and Lia currently reside in North Richland Hills, TX.
