Marilyn Zemba was appointed to White’s Chapel as an Associate Local Pastor in June of 2009 and she serves as the Pastor of Missions and Outreach. In this capacity she seeks to empower individuals in discipleship and to connect them with others and God through a variety of local and international service opportunities.

Marilyn moved throughout the U.S. while growing up and now claims Texas as her home. She received her BBA from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from USC and is completing her Masters of Divinity at Brite Divinity School in 2010. She is a Certified Candidate for the role of Elder in the United Methodist Church. Prior to her appointment as a Pastor, Marilyn served at White’s Chapel as a Director of Missions and a Director of Operations. Marilyn moved into ministry after a twenty year career in corporate executive management specializing in organizational and operational business development.

Marilyn enjoys spending her free time with her friends, her dog (Barney) and her many cats. Marilyn’s passions include relaxing with good friends, gourmet cooking, golf, tennis, running, swimming, cycling, studying the contemplative works of Thomas Merton, reading, being outdoors and watching the beauty of God’s majestic creation especially sunrises and sunsets.
